SECOND CHANCE SUPPORT NETWORK

Empowering Change: One Mission, One Life, One Second Chance at a Time

Second Chance Support Network's mission is to serve men and women released from jail or prison, individuals in court diversion programs, and those with court-ordered community service requirements by providing support, inspiration, Christ-centered mentoring, and other programs to empower their transformation and reintegration into society.

COMPLETE COMMUNITY SERVICE

SECOND CHANCE SUPPORT NETWORK

The Second Chance Support Network partners with Recovery Advocates in Livingston (RAIL), Life Relaunch, Love INC, and Thrive Coaching & Consulting to provide individuals with the Pathways Mentorship Program.  The Pathways Mentorship Program is designed to lift people up by walking alongside them and giving them the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed.

DONATE TODAY

Second Chance Support Network serves over 75 men and women annually and always has individuals eager and waiting for a mentor. Your donation will help Second Chance Support Network provide training and support to current mentors and will provide mentors to men and women who don't have one yet.

Why become a Second Chance mentor?

Mentors are trained individuals who want to help us support men and women recently released from jail or prison by providing them with support and inspiration as you help guide them through our Christ-centered mentoring program. A mentor is not a teacher, a parent, or a social worker. A mentor provides guidance, encouragement, and supports returning citizens as you help them unlock their future.

When you serve as a mentor, you directly impact the lives of men and women in our community.

Thanks to Second Chance Support Network's donors and mentors, we have impacted the lives of over 500 men and women in our communities. Program enrollment grows most years, making volunteer mentors critical to meeting our demand. Please help us reach every man and woman returning to our community who deserves a compassionate, trained mentor!

Second Chance Support Network is an incredible organization that provides valuable support to those who have been a part of the criminal justice system. Their mentorship program is outstanding, as it offers individuals the opportunity to receive guidance, support, and encouragement as they navigate the challenges of reentry. Overall, Second Chance Support Network is a shining example of an organization that truly makes a difference in the lives of those who need it.

Why your donation directly help us make a difference

It cost Second Chance Support Network approximately $3,090 each year to support one mentee. We want every man or woman to have a quality mentor upon reentry. That requires financial support for training and to reach deserving individuals.

Over 500 deserving citizens have received support and were matched with a mentor who provides support and encouragement. In a recent survey, recidivism rates were reduced when citizens received support, such as our Pathways Mentorship Program, upon reentry.

"I am overwhelmed with the joy and happiness I have. I have a great mentor through Second Chance Support Network."

Marie, Mentee

"Second Chance Support Network and their mentorship program is the best thing that ever happened to me."

Mike, Mentee

The feeling of helping others and making a difference in our community one second chance at a time is priceless.
